Dress To Impress has launched a brand-new feature to the game, to keep things exciting, and it’s the “Old Item Of The Week Event”.
Every week, the DTI team will bring back an old, now-deleted item from the game, and we can play with the item for just one week only.
Once the week is finished, it’ll be removed from the game once more, which is a massive shame, but it’s fun to look forward to seeing which items will be returning.
Dress To Impress Brings Back The Sabrina Carpenter Heart Cutout Dress
The Old Item Of The Week Event was launched December 14th, as part of the Winter Update, and the developers has created the amazing cutout section in the wall, with the week’s freebie item with sparkles all around it.
If you use the old item during the promotional week, we won’t be able to keep it within our dressing room items (like we can with the Brat items), and sadly, it will be removed from the game.
So, we only have one week to enjoy the items, before they disappear once more.
Although, I do have hope that the item/s might return again in the future because this week’s item has had a rework since it was last in the game, and I just don’t envisage the team going to the effort of reworking and revamping an item for just one week. But, who knows?
We don’t need to worry about using codes to redeem each week’s item, as it’ll just appear within the cutout in the wall, and you can just click the item to equip it.
For the week December 14 to December 21, this week’s item is the Sabrina Carpenter inspired heart cutout dress.
This item was removed from the game earlier this year, and people have been gutted, and now it’s back, we can use the new feature within the game (the Material Changer).
So, we can wear the dress in the material the dress originally comes in, or we can change it to the different materials (as shown above), and the options are;
- Default
- Matte
- Glitter
- Rainbow Glitter
- Denim
- Silk
- Light Silk
- Metallic
- Neon
- Foil
I absolutely love the new material changer feature, as it completely transforms the entire item.
My favorite has to be the “glitter” material option, and it really pops and sparkles on deeper, or more intense colors, like this purple. I think the dress looks gorgeous in this deep purple shade.

It’s such a game changing feature, especially as you can change the material of different sections of items that have multiple parts, like jackets or shoes.
If you’d like to get your hands on the Sabrina Carpenter inspired heart cutout dress, it’s now available within the game until the 21st of December, and we can then look forward to seeing the new item for next week!
