The new Dress To Impress Lunar New Year Update is officially live, and while it’s only a mini update to celebrate the Lunar New Year, we still have lots of exciting things, plus three brand-new codes, which will only be available for a very limited time. Keep on reading to find out more…
With the DTI Lunar New Year update, we don’t have any influencer codes, but hopefully, we will have some influencer codes during the Valentines Update (launching February 8th).
The last influencer code we got was 1CON1CFATMA during the Winter update, so I think we’re overdue a new influencer code.
Although we didn’t get any new influencer codes this time around, we did get three special codes to help celebrate the Lunar New Year.
For the New Year Update (that launched December 30th), we only had one code, but for the Lunar New Year Update, we have three limited time codes.
The Dress To Impress Lunar New Year Update Codes are:
- LNY2025: Cheongsam & Tang
- YEAROFTHESNAKE: Snake jewelry items
- HAPPYNEWYEAR: Hanfu
Make sure you click on the “code” icon on the left side of the screen, and in the pop-up box, enter the code LNY2025, YEAROFTHESNAKE and HAPPYNEWYEAR, all in capital letters.
When you enter this code, you will get a pop-up box notification (with sound) to tell you that you’ve “unlocked” the limited edition special items.
When entering the code LNY2025, you get;
- The Cheongsam and Tang traditional Chinese outfits
When entering the code YEAROFTHESNAKE, you get;
- The snake wrap bracelets, the snake wrap choker necklace and the snake hair clips.
When entering the code HAPPYNEWYEAR, you get;
- The Hanfu.
These three codes: LNY2025, YEAROFTHESNAKE, and HAPPYNEWYEAR are only available from today (Saturday 25th January) until next Saturday 1st of February, and once the 1st of February is over, the three codes will be removed from the game, so you need to enter them ASAP, so you don’t miss out on these items.
We have just one week to redeem these limited edition Lunar New Year code items, and they’re all such beautiful rare items.
The item we didn’t see a sneak peek of ahead of the Dress To Impress Lunar New Year Update is this Hanfu, which you can get by using the code: HAPPYNEWYEAR.
It’s the most beautiful item, and it looks so elegant and unlike anything else in the game.
Let’s take a look at all the Dress To Impress Lunar New Year items…
When you redeem the code LNY2025, you get two items for the one code.
You receive the Cheongsam (shown above), also known as the qipao and sometimes referred to as the mandarin gown.
It is one gown, but there are three toggles, allowing you to choose how you want the garment to be worn – plus all three toggles have a different pattern, so it feels like three different dresses.
As well as receiving the Cheongsam for code LNY2025, you will also receive the Tang, which is a type of traditional Chinese suit.
This suit can only be worn by the male bodies (and the Cheongsam can only be worn by female bodies).
The Tang is a suit jacket (there are no trousers), and it comes with three toggles (1, 2 and 3).
For toggle 1 you get the closed long-sleeved jacket in a deep red color with a gray snake pattern all over, and gray knot fastenings.
Toggle 2 is a short-sleeved jacket which is slightly opened with an undershirt. It’s a deep red color with a grey botanical design on the front, with gray knot fastenings.
Then, toggle 3 is a sleeveless version of the jacket, and it is completely open with a red satin color, grey floral design, gray knot fastenings and white undershirt.
2025 is the Year Of The Snake, and when you enter the code YEAROFTHESNAKE, you get three items all-in-one, which is amazing.
The first of the three items is a silver, metal snake choker necklace.
The snake has a scale texture effect, and is wrapped around the neck several times before hanging down at the front of the neck.
We have two toggle options (toggle 1 and toggle 2), and toggle one gives you the snake necklace without a pendant, and toggle two gives you the necklace with a pendant.
By default, the necklace is without the pendant, but toggle two puts a pretty pendant underneath the snake head.
You cannot change the materials, but we can change the color of the snake, and the color of the pendant.
The second item you’ll receive with the code YEAROFTHESNAKE, is a pair of snake metal hair clips.
These hair clips are wrapped around the sides of the head. They don’t wrap all the way round the head, but they’re a lot longer than I thought they would be.
You don’t get any toggles for these hair clips, but we can change the color of the metal.
My favorite item from the snake trio are these snake wrap cuffs.
They look amazing, with the snake wrapped around the wrists, but there are three toggles (low, high and both).
This is the low toggle, with the snakes wrapped around the wrists, with the snake head on the back of the hands.
This is the high toggle, where you get the silver metal snakes wrapped around the top of the arms, like arm cuffs. They are longer snakes when worn on the upper arm, compared to the snakes on the forearm.
The final toggle for the snake cuffs is “both” and this will give you snakes wrapped around your forearms, and your upper arms for a double cuff look.
You cannot change the fabric of these cuffs, but we can change the colors of the cuffs.
The last item for the DTI Lunar New Year update is yours when you use the code HAPPYNEWYEAR.
This is the only item that wasn’t sneak peeked before the update, but you get a Hanfu with this code, which only works on female bodies.
A Hanfu consists of a paofu robe, or a ru jacket worn as the upper garment with a qun skirt commonly worn as the lower garment.
It’s a beautiful silk wrap dress with a full skirt, a silk wrap belt and wide cuffs.
There’s a stunning oriental pattern on the silk cuffs, which also appears on the edging of Hanfu.
I absolutely love this item, but there are no toggles.
By default, the Hanfu is a deep red (#8c2624), with champagne gold accents (#ffd4ad), a peach tie belt (#ffac87), rose gold waist band (#e7a9a8) and champagne patterned edge on the cuffs and neckline (#f2d1a5).
You cannot change the fabric of any of the elements of the Hanfu, but you change all five colors of the dress, to customize it.
Remember, these codes are only available until February 1st, so redeem them ASAP while you can before these rare items are gone forever.
