Dress To Impress Valentine’s Update Secrets & Code Revealed!

The huge Dress To Impress Valentine’s Update launches tomorrow (Saturday, February 8th), and we’re all so excited about it.

It’s going to be a bigger update than the winter update (back in December), but not as big as the Halloween update, and StudioZac has confirmed that the Dress To Impress Valentine’s Update is now going to be split into two separate updates. Keep reading to find out why…

Zac (the Development Manager for Dress To Impress) did a Q&A on the DTI Discord, where Discord members could ask any questions about the upcoming update, and he’d answer them.

There were SO many questions, and Zac revealed many exciting secrets and hints on the update (and even an Easter update).

Zac is getting his own code, which will give us two items (one clothing item and one accessory), and they are Sabrina Carpenter inspired.

Are We Getting A Limited Time Code In The Dress To Impress Valentine’s Day Update?

There was a lot of chatter about whether there was going to be a limited time code in the Valentines update, like the Petal Dress in the Winter update, and the Sparkling Resolution Dress in the New Years update?

Well, it’s official. The answer is no.

We are not getting any limited time codes in the Valentine’s update, so you don’t need to worry about missing any codes this time around, depending on your time zones.

How Much Money Do We Need For The DTI Valentine’s Update?

We know we’re getting currency items and we know we are getting a new pose pack (just one new pose pack), and Zac was asked how much in-game currency we’ll need to purchase the new items in the update.

Zac confirmed “a good chunk”, which is obviously up for interpretation, but others then commented to suggest it could be $10,000+.

So, make sure you are farming as much as possible ahead of the launch time (find the DTI update launch time for your time zone here), and feel free to use my private server for free, to farm extra in-game currency.

Plus, influencer EllaCaroline is getting an influencer code too (thank you to Lulu for the heads-up on this one).

Ella is getting a code in the update, and it’s for this adorable, super girly skirt, which will have two toggles.

The default is a bright pink, short, layered ruffle mini-skirt with bows on the sides and little lace-up detailing.

Then, we get another toggle with the skirt, which is a long, asymmetrical layered version with the same bows and lace-up details on the side.

It looks like it’s going to be amazing for layering.

One of my favorite DTI influencers (Leah Ashe) is going to be starring in the Valentine’s Quest! She announced it on X, and you can see a screen grab right here, but she’ll be featuring in the quest in the chapter we’ll be taking “Cupid Training Sessions”.

Kicking off the Q&A, Zac said guys we have a problem, and when he was asked what the problem was, he mentioned “we have too much stuff for Valentine’s update”, and that maybe we should do a 2 part update.

People were (understandably) gutted by this announcement, but Zac reassured that whatever decision they make, it’d be the best one for all of you and us.

I did wonder if there was going to be a delay to the quest, because they always promote the quest reward items way ahead of the launch date to build excitement, but literally nothing has been said about the rewards this time around.

It is now officially confirmed, the Dress To Impress Valentine’s Update is going to be split into two parts.

So, we will either get the new gameplay mode first, or the quest first, and then the other (either the quest or the gameplay mode) will be next weekend.

Zac said there is a lot of new stuff, and they knew we felt overwhelmed with their Halloween update (as there was so much new content), so they said they just need to roll everything out slowly.

When asked if the new game mode (Style Showdown) would still launch on Saturday, Zac said they hadn’t decided yet, but it’ll either be the quest this weekend and the game mode next weekend, or vice versa.

Someone suggested keeping the Valentine’s Quest for actual Valentine’s Day, and Zac said that was such a good idea.

So, we will now have to wait until Valentine’s Day (Friday 14th February) to get the new quest, or wait until next weekend to be able to play the new Style Showdown.

We won’t be getting both the quest and the new game mode tomorrow, which is a massive shame, but we don’t want Roblox to crash like previous updates, but I, for one, am gutted, so I’m sure you will be too.

How Many New Hairs Will Be In The DTI Valentine’s Update?

When asked how many new hairs will be getting in this update, Zac replied with “a lot”, so we have lots of new hairstyles to be excited about!

We’ve seen a sneak peek of a couple of them already, like the cute short, slicked back hairstyle in the images for the Queen Of Hearts set.

How Many Items Will There Be In The DTI Valentine’s Day Update?

When asked how many items were in the upcoming update, Zac said “a lottttttttt” and followed up by saying there will be around 30+ items in the Dress To Impress Valentines Update.

Wow! That’s definitely more than what we got in the Winter update.

30+ items is amazing, and one of those items is now confirmed to be the adorable cloud!

We all wondered if it was just a graphic, or if it was something we were going to be able to use.

I do wonder if it’ll be a VIP item, as the VIPs got the broom from the Halloween update, and that flies, so this flying cloud is likely to be a VIP item, if past updates are anything to go by.

Zac was asked will there be a story quest and new code items. To which he replied, yes code items, and that one of the code items is his code item.

All the developers get their own codes, like Umoyae, MotoPrincess, BeaPlays etc, and when asked if his code was going to be an item/accessory rather than a clothing item, and he said what if it’s both, and confirmed that his new code will give you TWO ITEMS.

When quizzed about the Valentine’s Day quest, Zac said it’ll be “very easy it’ll be a small and fun quest”.

Are There Going To Be Currency Items In the Dress To Impress Valentine’s Update?

YES. Zac has finally confirmed that we are getting currency items in this update.

We didn’t get any currency items at all in the winter update, and we were all so gutted, but we did get the Myra Girl set in the New Year Update.

However, we don’t know how many currency items we’re getting, but we are definitely getting currency items this time around, so find out to farm currency quickly right here.

How Many Pose Packs Are We Going To Get In The DTI Valentine’s Day Update?

We are getting just one pose pack in this update, and this pose pack is called the Valentine’s Pose Pack.

We don’t know how much it’ll cost, but we do know some of the poses we are getting…

First, we’re getting this cute bashful pose, with one leg lifted and bent at the knee, one hand with a finger on the cheek, the other hand by the side.

Plus, this sneak peek shows us the new Lana location! She’s no longer cramped behind that tiny desk, here she’s near a window, with flowers all around her – how cute?!

The other pose we know we’re getting, is the animated blowing kisses SFX pose, so I expect this pose pack to cost around $7000, especially if it’s just one pose pack.

Zac gave us a pic of what the new facial hair will look like on the face.

Here, we can see a model wearing the mustache, and it layers over the top of the lips, to look more natural.

Plus, look at the new salon chair / salon hood in the background of this pic? It looks so chic!

What Is The Dress To Impress Valentine’s Day Code Item?

As part of Zac’s Q&A on Discord, he revealed his code item is coming, and he gave some clues, and the Discord Detectives worked out that the Zac code (which will give us two items) is Sabrina Carpenter related.

A lot of questions and funny memes/GIFs were shared, and it was worked out that it’s likely to be a dress inspired by Sabrina Carpenter, with an accessory, which looks like it could be the duo in the photo above, with the corset dress, and either some garters, or a sparkly coat/towel like Sabrina’s holding.

He then shared this photo (it is very poor quality as he shared the pic as a tiny square) as a snippet of the item, and you can see it’s a corset dress / bodice.

It looks beautiful even in this tiny, blurry photo, but I’m so excited we’re getting two items inspired by Sabrina Carpenter.

We then have a random reveal, but it looks like we’re going to be getting some face bandages or BandAids in this update, as a face accessory?

Maybe they’ll be like the Decora face stickers in the custom makeup area, or perhaps they’ll be an item you equip like the facial hair?

What Robux Items Are Coming In The Dress To Impress Valentine’s Update?

The DTI Queen Of Hearts Set, which featured flared lace-up pants, a flame red corset and some PVC platform boots, has been revealed as being Robux items, and not in-game currency items.

We haven’t had any new Robux items in a very long time, so it’s exciting that this update includes some new Robux items for us to buy.

I don’t know if the three-piece set will be available individually, or if you can purchase all three items for one price, but it’s a stunning set and it’ll be the first item I buy, as I need those pants in my life!

Are We Getting The DTI Heart Dress Back?

The most popular questions I’m getting right now, are about the Old Items Of The Week coming back – mainly the heart dress and the butterfly top.

Well, the answer is yes! I really hope that the granny dress, heart cutout dress and butterfly top don’t count as three items of the 30+ items we’ve been promised.

Is This Update Zac’s Favorite Update?

Yes! Zac said that this was his favorite update he’s worked on, and that every update gets better! You know it’s going to be a good update, when the devs are this excited about it.

Is There Going To Be A DTI Easter Update?

Easter isn’t until 20th of April, so we have a long time to wait, but we have confirmation that they have planned for an Easter update, and they’re already throwing around ideas, so this will be something to look forward to in a couple of months time.
