So it’s a great way to find out the hottest DTI news. In the Discord, on the 11th of November, Bugaliciaz shared a sneak peek of the two newest versions of the Dress To Impress logo. The Dress To Impress logo has a festive design for the Christmas period, and a new wintery version for the update, once Christmas has passed.
When Does The Dress To Impress Winter Update Launch?
The Dress To Impress team officially announced the launch of the upcoming Dress to Impress Christmas update, and the most exciting update of the year launches on December 14th.
StudioZac announced the official launch of the new DTI Winter update, and revealed that the update will include new clothes, new items, new poses and a new quest all-in-one.
Dress To Impress Winter Update New Makeup
Until 14th December, the team are going to share sneak peeks and exciting news. As part of the sneak peeks, we’ve seen there’s going to be a whole load of new makeup looks.
In the Halloween update, there were a number of new Halloween pre-made makeup looks, and for those that have the Custom Makeup Gamepass, the Halloween makeup elements were available individually, so we could create custom makeup looks.
The first sneak peek of the Dress To Impress Winter Update makeup looks came from @yvesmeldti, who has been commissioned to create a number of seriously incredible festive makeup looks – just look at them.
Yvesmeldti created a whole host of the epic Halloween makeup looks, so it’s very exciting that they’ve created some of the winter themed makeup looks too.
These looks include an iconic The Grinch makeup look, a Jack Frost makeup look, a reindeer makeup look and lots of festive makeup elements. Just look at the eyelashes and new noses.
This second DTI Winter update makeup looks sneak peek comes directly from AsaqinDory, and Asaqin created some of the Halloween makeup looks too.
From this sneak peek, we can see five makeup looks, and they’re just beautiful. These looks are more wintery, whereas the YvesMelDTI looks are more festive in comparison.
Dress To Impress Winter Update New Clothes
The Dress To Impress Winter update is going to feature new clothes, new items, new poses and a new quest. The most exciting part of the entire update, is, of course, the new clothing items.
Dioncella gave us the first clothing sneak peek, and they revealed that this is their first item creation for the game. It appears to be a button-up shirt, with a jersey collar, matching ribbed cuffs, and a pleated skirt.
It’ll be interesting to see which toggles are available for this shirt, and if we’ll be able to remove the cuffs and/or the pleated skirt section of the item. Also, can we change the color of the buttons or use patterns on it too?
For our next Dress To Impress Winter update clothing sneak peek, it’s this pair of incredible boots from Dioncella again, but the sneak peek was revealed in the Discord by @Submiscy.
Dion posted on X that these new Dress To Impress Winter Boots were “inspired by my own UGC heels, and these iconic blumarine boots”.
These pointed toe boots feature a tapered metallic stiletto heel, with buckle detailing across the toes, five buckles up the leg in varying sizes, and a fur trim around the tops.
They’re most definitely one of the most detailed pairs of shoes we’ve seen in Dress To Impress, and again, it’ll be exciting to see what customizations will be available.
The newest reveal for the upcoming update came the official TikTok account, which announced the launch date of the new DTI Christmas update (December 14th), and it was a short clip showing a character dressing a snow-covered tree with a DTI bauble, in front of a roaring fire.
In this clip, we can see the character wearing amazing red stockings, with white pompoms attached to the front.
She is also wearing some red metallic boots, which also feature a pompom detail.
In addition to the stockings and boots, the character is wearing a plush looking Santa hat, and a beautiful Santa themed dress, with matching white pompoms, and white fur accents, for the ultimate Santa-inspired outfit.
Submiiscy shared a video in the Discord of an upcoming top/dress with a bunch of toggles they made.
The top/dress has what looks to be at least 5 toggles, and it belted with a metal buckle, and the buckles appear to feature on the strap version of the top/dress.
Dress To Impress Winter Update New Poses
We have seen a sneak peek of two brand-new poses coming in the new DTI Winter update, and they’re both animated poses with particles, which we’ve never seen before.
The above image shows stills from a pose that includes the model picking up snow, and then blowing the snow and snowflakes. It’s so cute, with a magical vibe.
The other animated pose sneak peek is this adorable pose with the model picking up snow and then throwing it into the air, with the snow and snowflakes cascading down.
Dress To Impress Winter Update New Quest
Umoyae; a DTI manager, representative & lore-writer, shared the above sneak peek connected to the new quest which will be launching as part of the new Winter update.
We can see this Santa’s workshop scene, with a big sleigh towards the back, with a portal.
Plus, Umoyae tweeted this snippet to tease the upcoming quest.
When asked on TikTok for some gossip surrounding the quest, Umoyae said the quest would not be 3 chapters (like the Halloween quest), and suggested it wouldn’t be as difficult.
