With the Dress To Impress Winter update launching today, we know we’re going to need a good amount of in-game currency, so we can purchase the brand-new pose packs and currency items.

During the Halloween update, we could buy five different pose packs, and eight different clothing/accessory items, so we have an idea of how much we’re going to need during this update.

During Halloween, we could purchase the following pose packs, at these prices:

  • Dance Pose Pack ($2000) – three poses
  • Halloween Pose Pack ($4600) – eight poses
  • Hand Pose Pack ($4500) – nine poses
  • Troll Pose Pack ($2900) – five poses
  • Fairy Pose Pack ($3200) – four poses

The total cost for all five of these pose packs is $17,200, so it’s a good idea to assume that the Winter update pose packs will be around this price.

Especially as we know there are going to be brand-new animated poses, which we’ve never seen before within Dress To Impress.

So, it is entirely possible that the animated pose pack will be more expensive than usual pose pack prices, as so much extra work has gone into producing them.

Then, during the Halloween update, the following clothing/accessory items launches:

  • Witch Set Skirt ($1000)
  • Witch Set Corset ($1200)
  • Witch Set Hat ($900)
  • Witch Set Sleeves ($500)
  • Acoustic Guitar ($1200)
  • Skull Boots ($1500)
  • Supernova Star Skirt ($1500)
  • Supernova Star Corset ($1500)

The total cost for all five of these eight items was $9,300, so the Halloween pose packs and clothing/accessory items came in at $26,500, so I would imagine the cost to be around the same for the DTI Winter Update.

I would guess we need $20,000 of in-game currency to purchase the winter-themed pose packs and clothing/accessory items.

If you haven’t managed to farm $20,000+ of Dress to Impress in-game currency, don’t worry.

Although the DTI winter update launches today, the update is going to live between December 14th and January 14th, so you have exactly one month to farm the currency, and purchase the items.

The clothing/accessory items which launched as part of the Halloween update are still available to purchase via the currency section within the dressing rooms, so even if you didn’t purchase those during the Halloween event, you could purchase them today.

However, DTI did remove some of the Halloween pose packs, so if you were going to prioritize pose packs over currency clothing items, I would personally recommend choosing the pose packs.

As it’s more likely the Christmassy pose packs will be removed before the clothing does, if the Halloween update is anything to go by.
