There have been a ton of rumors circulating on social media, that Roblox’s Dress To Impress was coming to Fortnite, and a lot of people were excited.

Since Dress To Impress launched back in October 2023, the game has gone from strength to strength.
During the summer update and Brat update, the popularity has just gone crazy, and whenever games soar in popularity, it leads to rumors, conspiracies and drama.
Fortnite is one of the most popular games worldwide, with over 650 million registered players and an impressive 110 million monthly active users (MAU), so it makes sense why Fortnite players would be hoping for a collaboration between DTI and Fortnite.
However, this particular drama stemmed from a tweet from Team Hive, where they tweeted on the 12th of January (which has had 729,000 views at this point), with a darkened image of an avatar making a heart shape above their head, with “created in Fornite” in the corner.
The caption is what really set people off, the tweet said:
“Dress your best to impress… 👜 coming 2025 to @FortniteGame.“
Team Hive didn’t say anything about Dress To Impress, but people assumed the inclusion of “dress, best and impress” within the tweet was alluding to a potential collaboration between Dress To Impress and Fortnite.
Due to the “is Dress To Impress coming to Fortnite?” rumors, @StudioZac (Development Manager for Dress To Impress) posted a statement on X, to answer the question the DTI team had been inundated with:
“We have no intentions of creating Dress to Impress on another platform. You can only play the real Dress To Impress on ROBLOX. All offsite games using the title and similar gameplay are fan-made.“
So, no Dress To Impress is not coming to Fortnite. The only place you can play the genuine DTI is on Roblox, and all other imitations and copies are fan-made, and fake.
Whenever there are rumors like this, it’s always best to check the official Dress To Impress X, Discord or YouTube.
Whilst a Fortnite x Dress To Impress collab would be fun, it’s just a rumor that stemmed from people misinterpreting a tweet by Team Hive.
